Kate Wells

Professor Kate Wells has a PhD in Social Anthropology and Masters in Design. The Siyazama Project, the basis of her ongoing anthropological enquiry, is recognized as a unique project, as it engages hard-to-reach communities through its unique visual communicative methodologies. Since 2013, she is retired and her attention is now concentrated on Arts and Medicine theory, and practice, in a range of settings. She has completed two Arts and Medicine programs at the University of Florida, Gainesville, USA, and has recently completed the Dance for Parkinson’s teacher training course in Cape Town, South Africa.
