Mbhekeni Mbili

Born 1975 in Umlazi, Durban Mbili participated in a 1 year art programme at the BAT Centre, Durban.

In 2006 he entered the Absa L'atelier competition, and his work was selected for the semi-finals and exhibited in Johannesburg. In 2007 he was a finalist in the Nivea Start Art Awards presented at the KZNSA Gallery.

His third solo exhibition entitled Inhlabathi Yase Africa opened at the KZNSA Gallery in June 2010.
