Art, books, films, performance - an exceptional evening at the Galleries

22 April 2012

A cliché is anything one has ever heard before but celebration was in the perfect Durban April air as a couple of hundred people gathered last night, Friday 20th, to welcome Cedric Nunn. The occasion was the exhibition opening of his photographic retrospective, ‘Call and Response’. Bronwyn Law-Viljoen, Director of Fourthwall Books launched the book in the Gallery. Later Durbanites picnicked on the lawn (transformed into an outdoor theatre) to watch the BE BOP film screenings and a live performance by Poppyseed. Huge thanks to all for participating and making this such a memorable evening.
